This is why the consolidation of data is a big fucking deal and the changes I wrote about in Bill C2 will make this possible. As it stands, different government departments cannot access your data without permission. Now they can. Data will also become less anonymized so anyone can be targeted
New from 404 Media: ICE is searching a massive insurance and medical bill database to find deportation targets, according to internal ICE material. The database is all encompassing, contains details on 1.8 billion insurance claims and 58 million medical bills www.404media.co/ice-is-searc...

Almost two dozen researchers have published their takedown of Cass in the BMC Medical Research Methodology journal.

92 years ago today, the Nazis raided the Magnus Hirschfeld Institute for Sexuality, where the first study of trans people was conducted, and burned all of its contents.

Fitting that today is also the day SCOTUS greenlights the project of the eradication of trans people from society in the US.

An autism "registry" culled from private medical records could potentially violate federal privacy laws and runs the risk of abuse.

It also harkens back to a time when disabled people were labeled, segregated, and excluded. We won't go back.

When people say we don’t tell our kids “no” enough what they mean is they hate that we don’t raise our kids using fear-based control.
I feel like the idea that most parents, if not the vast majority, just aren’t telling their kids “no” is incongruous with reality. I think it’s how some people explain to themselves why the parent they’re judging doesn’t seem to have enough control over their kid.
