Not comfortably. 🙄

We need patience from our supporter base. This is a terrible time to be a cutthroat supporter.

And just like last season, even the newly promoted sides are causing problems. The premier league is so strong right now in large part due to Klopp and Pep raising the level, but the top teams have fallen off slightly, so now there’s surprising parity.

Gakpo is a decent header of the ball, but he’s not good at making space for himself in a crowd. Mac Allister is like Sadio in that way somehow.

Mo Salah begs to differ.
December 4, 2025 at 11:27 AM
Yeah, any draw can be more or less acceptable when you’ve gone a goal down late in the game and things like that

I still think we can bring this season back around, but it’s been a bit rough.

Sometimes players come together for the first time and player magnificently. It’s hard to predict, but some of the problems seem plain enough. It’s the morale that’s most complicated imo
December 4, 2025 at 2:53 AM
We’re definitely having an ongoing morale problem though, that’s slowing us down sometimes

They pass around and look for runs, but Isak is too static, and Salah has been reluctant to commit to counterattacks. It’s hard to say how much of that is coached.
December 4, 2025 at 2:44 AM
Okay, there’s more than that wrong with our play this season, but it’s not Slot telling them to play slow in attack.
December 4, 2025 at 2:25 AM
I don’t think he’s telling them to play slow. We often fell into a similar lethargy under Klopp in the face of a brutally low block
December 4, 2025 at 2:14 AM
Well, he’s doing loads of work, so I’m not sure if it’s really freedom. Slot always says he likes his players to feel free in attack, but maybe he needs to do more to facilitate that ethos.
December 4, 2025 at 12:57 AM
Yeah, he reminds me of Szoboszlai a year ago. Not really scoring but still clearly one of the best hardest working and influential players. He looks settled in the last couple of weeks in a way he didn’t quite early on, but that all seems normal to me.
December 4, 2025 at 12:57 AM
He’s so good. I have no problems with his time with us so far.
December 3, 2025 at 11:38 PM
I’d take a draw away, but any draw at home is a disappointment to one degree or another.
December 3, 2025 at 11:11 PM
It just looks to me like they’re looking for that particular edge no matter what. It’s possible that they’d do it less 3-0 down, but I’m not entirely convinced 🤷🏻
