Sunderland have clearly been coached to go down easily. It’s happening all over the pitch. I have zero respect for that.

“Global players’ union FIFPro said Liverpool and Netherlands forward Cody Gakpo was involved in 71 competitive games for club and country in 2024, more than any other player”

So purely appearances, not minutes played. Odd measure, but it shows how much faith his managers have in him. Well in, Cody.

The ICE secret police have kidnapped and disappeared this child. It's unconscionable what these sadistic racists are doing to children and their families.

Woah. Newsmax’s legal analyst just said Pete Hegseth and everyone involved in the illegal boat strike should be “prosecuted for a war crime.”

They’ve even lost Newsmax on this one.

Reranking partisan animosity in algorithmic social media feeds alters affective polarization
Today, social media platforms hold the sole power to study the effects of feed-ranking algorithms. We developed a platform-independent method that reranks participants’ feeds in real time and used thi...

A reminder that London is far safer than many major cities, that crime is falling and that racists hate both these truths because they undermine their vicious little divisive narrative.

Multiculturalism works. London works. And those who hate both things hate themselves most of all.
There were 93 homicides in London last year: population 9 million

In New York - population 8.5 million - there were
391.

London's homicide figure is 6 times lower than LA, 9 times lower than Miami, 17 times lower than Chicago.

And it's falling year on year despite the population increasing

Wirtz is a fascinating signing because his lack of goals leads many to call him a flop and others to say we need to build the team around him.

Personally, I don’t need him to score and think he’s adjusting well to the premier league.

A gritty, fighting performance with no errors and a clean sheet.
Players emphatically playing for Slot and the travelling Kop endorsing him at the end. Just what the doctor ordered! #lfc

Slot had two subs leftover, and one of them could’ve been Salah. I wonder how Mo feels about that.

We’ve had a huge downturn in form, historic even… a recent away record that would embarrass a team facing relegation…

And we’re still 4 points off 2nd place. There’s work to be done, as always, but we’re allowed to hope this is the new lads finally clicking.

Up the reds! #YNWA #LFC

Back to winning almost comfortably. First win on the road in a while, and I’m happy with every player I had been doubting the most. 🍻 #LFC

One of the more worrying stats I’ve seen in a while.
Liverpool being forced into making far more clearances per game this season than in previous years.
25/26 - 30 clearances per game
24/25 - 19
23/24 - 15
22/23 - 15
21/22 - 14

The worst thing would be to concede early in the second half and have to chase the game again. Please just keep the clean sheet until Hugo’s on… #LFC

Szoboszlai and Wirtz both look good, but neither are going into the opposition box, except just now when Wirtz should have scored and it got saved again… not enough power on the shot.
