The Mayor has never explained why despite a unanimous Board resolution & the clear intent of SF voters he diverted all Prop I funds from housing for the next 2 yrs. It’s as anti-housing as it gets.

Note how the SF Standard adopts conservative slogan/framing, rebranding supportive housing as “drug-tolerant housing.” The same could be said of any apartment building, condo complex, or single family home, but the term will only be used to describe the housing low-income people occupy.

New pro-eviction ordinance has dropped from SF supervisors Dorsey, Mandelman, Mahmood, Sherrill, and Sauter.

Imagine how out of touch you have to be to think this is what’s needed in this moment. Evictions are at their highest level in a decade and their answer is more evictions.
