Good to know re: MuseScore!
Last I looked into it getting VSTs and stuff to run under Wine is really not worth it / practical, but it's been a while so I should really look into it again. Especially with Windows getting worse and worse I'm sure there are lots of people in the same boat

Yeah, I'veconsidered switching to a Linux compatible DAW but I've invested so much into collecting and setting up my VSTs, VEPro, template, etc... and I also I don't want to switch DAWs (again!!)
