I think what helped with my self esteem is the realization that health and success are context-dependent. You need to figure out the unspoken rules of physical and mental health. Still figuring this out myself through my illness.

I legit wonder if it's my PPI medication giving me nausea, apparently it is a side effect. I took it this evening instead of morning and boom, nausea even though I usually don't get those in the evening.
I might stop it for a day and see what happens.

Even though there was also some luck involved, I gotta congratulate myself for having worked for the past 3.5 years despite dealing with chronic illness and having some savings and a decent resume as a result.

Back when I was an avid reader some 10 years ago I was reading a sci-fi trilogy in which some tertiary character was a hivemind made of several clones of one man and for some reason I imagined him as Saul Goodman.

I am mad medicine hasn't found an answer to my problem after 4 years. Like really. 2 specialists, echography, x-rays, blood tests, endoscopy and all of that for nothing.
