Went for a little shoppy shop in the Elmwood the other day. I didn’t spend as much as I would have, thanks to some of the business owners who showed me where NOT to go.

Never thought of myself as a Cruise Person but I recently had the best time ever on one. Everything we needed was a 5 minute walk away and we never had to get into a car. We let the kids roam free at times.

That kind of Walkable Urbanism is so illegal it can only exist in international waters.

Unfortunately we won't have a champion for safe bike/ped infra in District 5 but I still feel good about the election results w/r/t finally getting some protected bike lanes on my street. Not looking forward to fighting like hell to get them though

If you're going to have a celebratory event with pro-housing types, try to time it so the pro-housing candidate in a local race pulls ahead in an otherwise depressing election cycle. Vibes were immaculate at the @eastbayforeveryone.bsky.social gala last night. 10/10 would recommend

We had a good time as traffic cones for Halloween, they were especially helpful when we were crossing the street! I also went to my kids's Halloween parade at school and handed out stickers. If the Yes on FF campaign is reading this: I am available for mascot services
