True story:
Took a non-vegan friend to Farm Sanctuary about 10 years ago. We spent the entire day there, from open ‘til close. She left Farm Sanctuary a vegan.
Fast forward. She met and married another vegan, and they have two vegan children.
One trip to a sanctuary, three vegans.

Ich wohne an einem schönen Park unweit der Elbe. Ein Refugium für viele Vögel und Eichhörnchen. Mein Eichhörnchen war heute Morgen nochmal kurz am Balkon (sichtlich gestresst). Vögel fliehen bei jedem Knall panisch aus den Bäumen. Es bricht mir das Herz. Ich hoffe das alle überleben. #Böllerverbot

Wir hätten nicht mit 2 Millionen anderen eine Petition gegen das Böllern unterschreiben sondern mit 200 Treckern inklusive deren Besitzer nach Berlin fahren sollen, das Einzige was die Regierung dort nicht ignorieren.

The goal is NOT a flexitarian world or even a vegetarian world, but a VEGAN world. People need to be fully educated. They need to SEE and HEAR what the animal ag industry tries so desperately to hide. They need to watch Earthlings and Dominion. They DON’T need excuses for animal exploitation.

Tauben haben sich das Leben in der Stadt nicht ausgesucht. Sie sind Nachkommen gezüchteter Haustauben, die sich selbst überlassen wurden. Aus dieser Not heraus müssen sie nun irgendwie in der Stadt zurechtkommen.

Immer wenn ich lese, irgendwer fordere mehr Mut zu Reformen, weiß ich wie von Zauberhand, dass es nicht um den Mut geht, die Vermögenssteuer oä einzuführen sondern um den "Mut" denjenigen, die nur wenig haben noch das Letzte zu nehmen.
Dafür braucht es nur keinen Mut, sondern Empathielosigkeit.
