I think we need to stop focusing solely on what he's lying about and focus instead on WHY he's lying about it. I'm not saying never mention what, but steer the conversation to why. Who does this benefit, and how? Because most of his lies are already debunked or easy to.

Anyone wondering why MAGAs didn't believe he'd do what he said he'd do? It's because they thought he was lying. They know a good chunk of what he says is a lie. They voted for someone they knew was lying to create discord and division. That's why they are surprised he was telling the truth.

Eventually, anyone you don't like. That's not to say everyone will follow that path, but many will, and many will follow it all the way through. The more you do something, the easier it gets, and, in this case, the more likely you are to justify it.
And that keeps fascism going and growing. It also opens a door for "it can't be as bad as you say it is if you do it too." And leaves room for personal discretion. Right now, it's reserved for confirmed phobes, good. But then assumed phobes are included. Then, anyone assumed right-wing.
And that's why it's so tempting (and easy) to use them against certain folks. But that's the very reason we need to not. We need to be better than that, better than them here. There are times when 🔥 beats 🔥. But when the fire is bigotry in any form, it doesn't. It grows bigger.
