The question is about 2028, so this isn’t about local offices. Do you remember 2016?? I voted for who I thought should be the nominee in the primaries and they lost because of the DNC, so I voted for Hillary.

I'm saying that no left wing candidate would actually make it to a national platform to get elected because they would have to face the money machine that is the DNC.
They would have to either run as an independent (and lose) or give up their convictions (stop being left) to get an endorsement.
