A year ago, grandfather Khaled Nabhan became famous for the loving grace he held while saying final goodbyes to his granddaughter Reem....

Soul of my soul.

Now he is gone. The IOF killed him right before their shared birthday.
I can't stop crying.

Medical debt is one of the main reasons families go bankrupt in the US. Almost everyone in this country has experienced the violence of paperwork and claims denial. Everyone has a medical trauma or grief from the system.

Health insurers and hospitals increasingly treat patients less as humans in need of care than consumers who generate profit.

She Was Separated From Her 1-Year-Old at the Border. The Government Wouldn’t Tell Her Why.
U.S. officials can withhold their rationale in family separation cases that relate to national security. There have been about 80 children separated for these reasons this year, with an estimated 50 of them Russian.

The NYT just found that Musk’s charity has been shirking it’s responsibility to the tune of 400 million.

He is not alone.

New tax filings show that Elon Musk’s charitable foundation fell $421 million short of the amount it was required to give away in 2023. Musk has until the end of the year to distribute that money, or he will be required to pay a sizable penalty to the IRS.
Musk’s Foundation Gave Away Less Money Than Required in 2023
Private foundations must donate 5 percent of their assets every year. Elon Musk’s enormous charity missed that standard for three consecutive years.

A cop shoots an infant and its mother in my homestate, and there's some minimal outrage, but no revolution. The cops are bodyguards of capital, nothing more.
