Let's disassociate and pull weeds for hours. Pros: yard gets cuter, I get vitamin d. Extra pro: the cat joins me for moral support.

Later bonus: bouquet including things I dug up but didn't keep from the little girls run flower shop in my neighborhood .

I'm trying to be quieter and not give all away these days. The small joys can be mine and mystery. It is a hermit year after all. Keep them underestimating while you accomplish. What a Capricorn thing for me to say.

The US being a dumpster fire and getting worse, having new health scares to navigate, and existing is enough to have me confused in the hospital and second guess where an appointment to a department I last visited a month ago is.

My work had it's fanciest fundraiser show this weekend but it's Prednisone and antibiotics shut in time instead for me. Relief soon? I had 4 weeks with flu symptoms.

We've hit the time of year, prespring, where my cat loses his mind when bees accidentally get in the house. We had one emergency vet visit after he ate one. He doesn't do that anymore but today he screaming, stared until I removed it. I feel like that's what existing in the US is.

Maybe corny but it was helpful for me to hear Henry Rollins saying "this is not time to be dismayed, this is punk rock time, this is what Joe Strummer trained you for... You can be thunderous in your own life, to the eight people around you. That rubs off... Goodness is viral"

Mullien is such a versatile herb from adding to tea to empty lung funk, help with headaches, put on burns, or ingredient in toilet paper.

I parked on Capitol Hill today. An elder walking by holding groceries half smiles, I smile back. Then they exclaim f*** off you weirdos at me. I reply righto. 🤣

I miss late 90's early 00's New Orleans. Brought to you by driving over another bridge listening to Scabby Lounge Theatre by Liquidrone.

Please talk with your loved ones about Ruby Bridges. Read “I Am Ruby Bridges” by Ruby Bridges 💛

The first Black child at an all-white public elementary school in Louisiana. She was only six-years-old when she made history marching into that school.

Ruby Bridges is living history. She's only 70!

Marsha Johnson was a transgender activist who led the Stonewall LGBT movement. She brought the fire that freed sexual minorities. To take down the 'T' in LGBT on Stonewall Inn's website doesn't change that history. www.womenshistory.org/education-re...

Started year of the snake with a dream that someone who has been giving me a lot of grief was eaten by a moving dark entity. Now I can look at them and laugh that they have been prey and swallowed whole.

Wall doll casket Ophelia was inspired by the John Everett Millais painting, thoughts of casket girls of New Orleans smuggling vampires, and Tatiana from a Midsummer Night's Dream. She's very small and I cracked her arms while sanding. Floating with vintage millenry florals she became.
