This feels like the fatal flaw in American governance - the '2 senators per state no matter the population size' idiocy.
It creates such a massive imbalance in the power of individual voters, this can barely be described as a democracy.

He had my sympathy right up to the moment he explained he'd voted for Trump just to *avoid* this kind of treatment, at which point I'm like "backup, backup, dude! You vote for a felon, you deserve what happens."
