I was touring a state archive with a group of archives grad students and the archives employee took us into their NAGPRA section, took out materials, including remains, like "look at how cool this is!" Needless to say it was deeply inappropriate and they issued an apology to our class afterwards.
I think we need a mega thread of everyone's craziest archive stories.
