Soup was 🔥. I roasted the butternut squash with leeks, onions, garlic, and ginger first. Put it in the blender in 2 batches with 2 cups of chicken stock. Put all of that in a pot with some coconut milk and a bay leaf and brought it up to simmer. Served it with some toasted crusty bread!

My sister and I were just talking about doing this. I’ve been asking my family to do a cookbook of family recipes for the last 20 years and they haven’t, so I guess it’s on us 🤷🏾♀️
I also write down recipes in a book, especially the family recipes.
