This hit me hard. When my mother decided she wanted a better life for herself my 2 brothers and me. She kicked my pathological narcissist deadbeat conman of a father out. It was tough, she cried all the way to the welfare office to get our block of cheese and flour and never looked back. Grateful! ✌️
If you need the food bank right now, there’s no shame. Shame belongs to a system that pays poverty wages, cuts childcare, and lets healthcare bankrupt families.
If you can give, do. If you can’t, that’s okay too.
We rise by lifting each other.
