I'm excited about this trend! Wouldn't it be cool if it could spread as quickly and successfully in the US as it has in Germany and Pakistan?
Portable, plug-in solar panels avoid most of the problems that keep homeowners from installing rooftop solar. And in Vermont and New Hampshire, state lawmakers are pushing to make it viable.
Plug-in solar bills are in the works in New Hampshire and Vermont
DIY "balcony" solar kits, which can save residents money and give them more independence, are piquing interest from lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.
