Decades of erosion by Congress of their constitutional power is breathtaking but never have we seen it accelerated like this under the Dear Leader. As a liberal, I’ve been most disappointed in my fellows on this and tried to lean on conservatives. Now they’re long gone. Tariffs just one example.
I’m old enough to remember when we had a system of checks & balances that involved Congress, when Congress controlled the purse and legislated, and the president respected the Constitution & rule of law. I’m old enough to remember when a U.S. president wouldn’t want to be King George or a dictator.

This NFL suspension is a total joke. Did they review the absolutely sick vicious hit juju put on branch from behind? Did they watch juju comical stagger dive backward after branch slapped the side of his helmet? What blatant bias! Detroit Against Everybody! Screw you NFL.
I'll say this about Brian Branch, too. Nicest dude in the locker room. Always yes "yessir" or "no sir." Super polite, even when he doesn't have a lot to say in interviews. Between those lines, he flips a switch and is one of the biggest hitters around, to the point it's cost him, obviously.
