Is there a better line reading than “and Tiny Tim, who did NOT die…”

All these government accounts keep spammig me with propaganda on Facebook and they only have one joke which is the Jon Hamm rave scene. It’s not even funny! These people are so bad at memes!

Someone in a Disney Cruise group I’m in asked about flu shots for their 9 month old and the number of nurses chiming in saying they were glad they never get them was 😩

“They just made me sick” “I never gave them to my kids and they never got it!” “Just use Oscillococcinum”

NURSES 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
Number of flu shots given by the median ENT over their entire career: 0

A good number of our clients have participated in the prison dog training program, and at least one has cats. They make a profound difference in an incarcerated person’s life and rehabilitation. Reminding them they are loved, needed, and valued.
"I had not touched a cat in 15 years when an orange kitten wandered over to sit with me in the grass one day. I was left without adequate words to describe that experience. It reminded me that I am alive."

I’d like to thank streaming TV and the internet for helping me not even realize this was a thing that happened until now. Live TV would have betrayed me.
I get that the world is changing, and people's attention span is 3 seconds or less, but that speech was AWFUL - I can't even imagine what they were trying to accomplish..

This, for the love of all that is holy

Compliant and credulous media will be the death of the republic
There's no rule of journalism that says you have to show a president telling lie after lie – uncorrected – many times a day. That's a decision that corporate media are making for purposes other than delivering the truth to the public.

It’s important to note the US Sentencing Commission is taking public comment on this right now. Anyone can make a comment!

I honestly kind of love this. Probably the beginning of the end of the small, weird bowls.
10-2 Notre Dame announces it will not accept a bowl bid after missing the playoff.

The fun part* of working at a small non-profit law firm is getting to battle Adobe and a brand new e-filing system for literal hours!

*extremely frustrating part

Just think how many of you big law litigators are missing out on the tech fun.

The conditions in the highest security prisons are truly deplorable.
After Biden commuted the sentences of 37 men on federal death row last year, the Trump administration is retaliating by sending them to the supermax. Prisoners are locked in cells smaller than a parking space 22-24 hours a day.

One prisoner told me he fears he won't make it out alive.

My latest:
Death Row Prisoners Granted Clemency by Biden Brace for "Living Hell" Under Trump - Bolts
Trump officials are retaliating by imposing the harshest conditions in the entire federal prison system, including near total isolation.

What this shows is that, just as Americans are all just temporarily embarrassed millionaires, Dems must think their base is made of temporarily embarrassed Republicans who will eventually turn over and still want their support.
Unfortunately still true bsky.app/profile/adam...
American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.
