Just been chatting to my lovely Dentist, who is Cuban.
The US takeover of Venezuela is catastrophic for ordinary Cubans, because Cuba depends on Venezuelan oil.
Even with the oil, parts of Cuba are in black out 18 hours a day. Without it, who knows what will happen.

If Trump’s concern was drugs, he’d not have pardoned Honduras’s corrupt leader; if terrorism, he’d have gone after Iran; if world order, Russia; if preserving US power, China. If democracy, human rights or humanitarian motive, dozens of other worthy cases. What’s left is oil. And Epstein.

I’ve come up against U.K people trying to rewrite Christianity to support racist abuse of immigrants.

If I had a national institution I wanted to undermine, Hanover Communications are who I’d go to.
They’ve been undermining the NHS for years, successfully lobbying for firms to get NHS ££, including US giant United Health, & providing staff to pro-private politicians.
It’s just what they do.

Idea for TV programme. Politicians/rabble rousers debate, each lectern perched above a gunk tank. Any three lies, straw men, or other logical flaws, and into the tank they go.
Could be a junior version of- introduce the kids to what makes a valid argument?
