NEW: IFS public spending tool highlights large regional differences in spending.

In 2023-24, ‘identifiable’ government spending (spending which benefits specific areas) amounted to less than a quarter of economic activity in London – but almost half in North East England: 🧵

With the announcement of the abolition of NHS England and 50% cuts to ICBs, a great deal will change in commissioning of services. How these changes support the better use of 3rd sector organisations is one of the unknowns. The sector needs to speak up & shape decision making at the highest levels.

The good human bit.... few events recently due to challenging family health and relationship issues etc when my daughters have both, in very intuitive and personal ways, shown themselves to be good humans.
