They want Prendergast's Wellington back, the one where everything mostly worked or was new, where they were young and well-off, and the mayor cut investment and fucked the city's future.

Same folk who think the 1950s sound idyllic.

Excellent dossier, has my vote. 🤣

I did not say that, impossible was my word. But how do you justify saying “by over $50000” (this time I *am* quoting you) in a public statement if you don’t believe it?

And it’s impossible to house a bike for less than $58k?

I used to respect your reasoned opinions, but with an election near you’ve turned to populist BS. Not a good look.

So bye bye to Wellington’s heritage. In a generation, when we have nothing but plastic box offices and apartments, and wonder why? This is why.

The Unbound contract lists both non-payment and Unbound becoming insolvent as events that trigger rights reversion.

Anyone who needs an assist with this, please let them know that they can email [email protected] and I'll give them the rundown on how to do it.

With plurality voting it would probably support them even more, as your vote would just be discarded. At least MMP leads to Labour tempered with Green.

Consistent feedback through five consultations with Wellingtonians since 2016 has been for more pedestrian spaces, better public transport, and fewer private cars in our city centre. Regardless of what a loud minority may say, this is what the people of our city want.  /🧵

I don’t live in Karori so have no skin in the fix it or rebuild it decision. BUT… WCC can’t accept properties (green house also comes to mind), not maintain them, and then demolish or sell off. Public buildings need to be owned and maintained by public offices.

That’s terrible. I’m so sorry.

Next up, a documentary on someone’s collection of toilet seats, created by following Amazon purchasing suggestions.
