I have two degrees in history and an archivist’s brain so not only do I think what @summoningsalt.bsky.social is doing for speedrunning history is extremely important, but it’s usually beautiful too. I was crying in my car about Tetris. TETRIS.
Because I just got emotional watching a thing, I'm going to inflict this emotion on everyone else: Please RT this and shout out someone whose work is important to you. Don't wait to praise our best until they're gone. Give them their flowers while they can hear it and know they're appreciated.

There is a peephole in the door to our garage. We bought the house like that and can’t fathom why you would need such a thing.
Every night, I look through the peephole to make sure we closed the garage door and the lights are off.

It’s definitely not the worst game I ever PLAYED but I did beat it and as far as the disappointment level, Metroid Other M is still the king for me
