I thought I’d do a proper intro post with links 👋 I’m Jess aka Loadofolbobbins a textile artist and illustrator inspired by nature, books and coosplaying pigeons. 🐦❤️

They're acting like the problem with denying so many vulnerable people a covid vaccine this year is that the information informing us that we're no longer eligible isn't clear enough on the booking website!

The fucking problem is we're being denied vital healthcare!

Tomorrow is a full moon. Since the moon is shared by the entire world, everyone should be able to see the full moon. It feels somehow incredible. The whole world can see the same thing in the sky. I feel it's truly wonderful.

Guys my procreate is telling me to update my brushes but im kinda scared pahaha 🥲🥲🥲 Am I going to lose all of my custom brushes? It doesn’t give me the option to back them up as ‘I need to upgrade my brush library to perform this action’

Like most chickens its wattle is the familiar pinky red with a yellow beak and striking yellow legs. The chicken is striding amongst short clipped lush green grass that has been drawn in a sketchy pencil effect. The rest of the background is white.The page on the left tells you the common and latin name of the bird as well as a facts and it's conservation status, least concern. There's also a black outline map showing where the bird originates from. Text says The Wyandotte Chicken was first bred in the United States in the 1870s and was originally known as the American Sebright. Alongside the original silver-laced there are many other colour variants.

Classic Literature ceramic decoration samples by Loadofolbobbins. A series of circular white earthenware disc hanging decorations hand painted with silhouette scenes inspired by classic literature. Clockwise from the left is Jane Eyre with Rochester galloping towards her on his horse, Pride and Prejudice with Darcy handing Elizabeth a letter in a wooded clearing and Wives and Daughters where Molly looks out a window towards the small figure of Roger standing under a tree. Each decoration is hung with red ribbon and the Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre ones have special gold foiled lettering stating the title and author of each book.

Yeah even with such a lovely community the way the odds are deliberately stacked against you on Insta makes you feel rubbish! Wish more folks were active here as at least there’s no algorithm working against links etc. I feel like with feeds here it would do really well. Ho hum, eh! 😂

Totally get that last thing you want to do is promo when you’re in the groove! Yeah I’ve kinda abandoned Instagram for so many reasons but it’s always part of the gig with Super Seconds and I’m happy to do my part to promo etc. That algorithm always has fun messing with people during Super Seconds 😬

I mean I’ve just come off the most successful crowdfunder I’ve ever done, but a tiny handful of sales at a big event and it can make you feel like “oh no what am I doing”. Why do we do this to ourselves people, why! 😬
