A US judge has ordered hundreds of terminated research projects at the US National Institutes of Health to be reinstated, calling the processes that led to their cancellation “bereft of reasoning”.

Well the NIH has cancelled the Women's Health Initiative, the largest study of women in history

It has been running continuously since 1991 and has provided massive key knowledge about diseases in women

The WaPo article on SSA IT and DOGE is really something. But this guy—who appears to be my age, so not near his pension, with 25 years of service at SSA has more patriotism than every last GOP elected whispering their concerns in the halls.

Good for him. It’s brave to do the right thing.

For over 100 years this library straddling Vermont's border with Canada has been a real representation of our harmonious and mutually beneficial relationship with our neighbor. This decision is simply wrong.
Nearly two months after Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem made provocative comments at a library straddling the northern border that once symbolized the friendship between the United States and Canada, the US government has said it will restrict Canadian access to the beloved institution.
US to limit Canadian access to beloved cross-border library where Kristi Noem taunted hosts - The Boston Globe
The library astride the border has long allowed those in Canada to enter the building from the US side without going through customs. That arrangement is ending.

I wanted to see how the exact same post would perform on both X (Twitter) and Bluesky.
