Remember when the UCP cut popsicles for kids battling cancer?

Now they’re apparently making it harder to get the bloodwork of kids battling cancer to the lab.

From the DM’s…

Physicians at Grey Nuns are calling out the practice of limiting admissions (capping) as being a primary driver of the emergency room being overwhelmed to the point where

“standards for quality and safety… are not being met.”

What an amazing book. Wonderful characters who are interconnected in interesting ways. Great read. Hoping for more books in the future.
"I find the characters slowly define themselves [...]"

We had the pleasure of chatting with Bindu Suresh who talks to us about her new novel THE ROAD BETWEEN US, out today with @pressassembly.bsky.social.

Six of the top 10 are either in a kinetic conflict or threatening one, with each other or a neighbour. Or they’re under blanket sanctions. Or both.

Yet oil is at ~$60 a barrel.

Congratulations. Glad you are representing my area of Calgary.
Belated thanks to the voters in the Hill Times All Politics Poll for selecting me as favourite up-and-comer in the House of Commons!

Very humbled (and let's face it, lucky), with so many great MPs on both sides of the chamber. www.hilltimes.com/story/2025/1...

Seems a bit ironic to state that floor crossers are not legitimate. How legitimate is it to lose a seat and then take one that was legitimately won in Alberta because that area voted 80% Conservative???

COVID story. Family income reduced as wife on teachers strike. Inconvenient and costly to get vaccine re UCP decisions. Husband gets COVID. This now creates concern re frail parent in long term care, teenage daughter at home and teacher’s grade 1 class. Is this story unusual?

And the beat goes on…what will be next???
During the same week that the UCP is expanding privatization, the auditor general finds that government interference cost taxpayers over $100 million.

How can anyone deny it’s the government that’s the problem?

This is class.
It took just 8 minutes for thieves to steal the Napoleonic-era crown jewels from the Louvre. There weren't enough cameras and the ones there were there were facing the wrong way.

Could a 50-year-old maths problem have foiled the heist?

Where are the Louvre jewels now and can France get them back?
Experts warn that whilst the criminals may yet be caught, the gemstones they stole may never be recovered.

A question for policy makers in Calgary. If the blanket zoning policy is rescinded, do we go back to former policies? Were the former policies not rescinded with the blanket zoning policy. How will that work?
