Well now we know why 47 and Hegseth were so upset when Senators made their statement about refusing illegal orders. The SOUTHCOM commander resigned, and the JAG stated in writing that the strikes are illegal. The chain of accountability is clear and must be investigated and prosecuted.

Communities need used-book shops.

As the trends in our world are increasingly standardized and entrenched by "predictive" technologies that stifle innovation and reduce human actions into economic categories...

We need a full range of possibilities for readers and communities to explore and share.

A century ago, artists who survived the trenches captured humanity’s capacity for destruction. What can they teach us about confronting the far-right in a new age of genocide?

Series A, Episode 11 - Bounty

JENNA: It could be an injured pilot.
AVON: It could be a trap.
GAN: It's not a very good one, then. We're suspicious of it already.
AVON: The test is not whether you are suspicious but whether you are caught.

Ida Lupino co-starred as Steve McQueen’s mother in “Junior Bonner” (1972). She was only 12 years older than McQueen, but said she liked the role so much she would have been happy to play his grandmother.

Great article!
I have an answer for John Waters, who famously asked the question, “Why would [Dorothy] go back to Kansas?” It’s implied several times in the film that “over the rainbow” is a euphemism for death.
Dorothy wasn’t ready for “that last great adventure” & chose to go back to her family!
