I think that actually turned out to be Quds News being wrong. Internet Archive appears to not be able to mirror Instagram. They have a script that redirects the archives to a login page.

He's probably just unhappy because he was promised a few wars and CIA coups in this hemisphere, and he gave up the Senate for a subservient position to the person who spent the 2016 primary humiliating him, and he hasn't gotten to drop any bombs of his own.

This is disturbingly jingoistic and fawning over the military-industrial complex, but I had no idea how deep its ties to stanford were.
