Here I am dipping my toe in yet another social media channel, hoping its "the one".
"Well gosh darn it, this stuff IS serious for THOSE people, but can you really blame us for indulging our most puerile instincts?"

I wish someone would write this story as "Speaker of the House says President's memes are a distraction, tells House Minority Leader to ignore the President."
Or, I hope a few Dems repeat it that way.
Stir. The. Pot.

One big joke at the cost of diminishing people through offensive tropes.
I rely on sombreros in an airport or hotel to warn me away from the frat boy types and I guess this constant use by the GOP tracks.

The image from the video is demeaning and terrible, and yet I still fear people are not focused enough on the fact that every word in the video was also fake, demeaning and terrible!!!

And he plays a clip of a primary debate in 2019 asking people who are not current members of Congress about hypotheticals as his "proof" that the whole party wants undocumented workers. Good grief.

After reading the article, an alternate headline could have been "Bill Burr is fine with your homicidal regime as long as you have chain restaurants find him funny."

So for Politico, it's ok if it's a lie as long as there's a good political reason. Got it.

Everything is zero sum to the right. That's the full philosophy. If someone gets something then you won't. So shouldn't those people be rich white people who are smarter than you?

Almost sounds like your talking about "leading" people to a better outcome for themselves even when they may not realize it yet.
Feels hard to raise money on.

You know, it's an admirable bill but it's hard to applaud when you only post the standard careful political announcements but never in the moment to something like, ICE agents assaulting a reporter or a President telling Generals to violate the Constitution!

🤦🏼‍♀️ you are so right. Thank you for the correction.

There is! I think Schumer calls it "cutting back on the healthcare of Americans."
September 30, 2025 at 9:33 PM
Did you ever think you'd see the day when your country would be in the position of welcoming American refugees?
September 30, 2025 at 9:15 PM
Holy Fuck. The absolute fire hose of horrible sound bites from today almost had me miss this one. Like, you almost can't summarize the day with one example.

Meanwhile, my Dem governor posted a request that the National Parks be kept open during a shutdown.
Of all days, I needed to see elected officials get loud and oppose tyrrany today.
September 30, 2025 at 6:35 PM
So what will they do? Will they oppose? Will they say "What was touted today would be unlawful and we will not use American Cities as training grounds"?
Will they say today was an abuse of power and tax dollars for the purpose of intimidation?
