Here I am dipping my toe in yet another social media channel, hoping its "the one".
Beautiful! Love to see this kind of investment in ecological spaces
Building our tree canopy, trails, and Blue River watershed in east Kansas City. Proud to invest millions today in nature for our children, families, and neighborhoods in the heart of the city.

After reading the article, an alternate headline could have been "Bill Burr is fine with your homicidal regime as long as you have chain restaurants find him funny."

I'm not a political genius, but I'm pretty sure the party that published a 600-page manifesto on how they want to shut down the federal government are the ones who shut down the federal government.

I hope it's clear to everyone now that Trump really is going for it - he's trying to become a dictator. I don't know if he'll succeed, but he's working to install himself as an autocrat unaccountable to voters. And he's weaponizing the military against Americans who oppose him as part of that effort

"Living through the rise of a dictatorship just means inhabiting a space that is gradually shrinking. There’s no point in resisting, not at first. You just make do with whatever breathing room you still have—until you lose that too."

Authoritarianism Feels Surprisingly Normal—Until It Doesn’t

No one at any of these stations or KPTV (Gray/Fox) thinks Portland is a war zone. But watch whether any of them say the factual part out loud.

We need local news, but only if it's willing to say what is observably true. Otherwise journalists are just stenographers.
Worth noting that Portland has both Nexstar (KOIN/CBS) and Sinclair (KATU/ABC) stations, and the NBC affiliate (KGW) is Tegna, which is being purchased by Nexstar.

Keep an eye on how corporate interferes with local coverage of this.

"we are willing to work with the president" is what you say when you have policy disagreements but want to do what's good for the country. Not when the president is actively working against the founding documents of the country.
This is going to be Donald Trump's shutdown.

Democrats are ready to work with the president.

We are willing to sit down with him today, tomorrow. We will even come to the golf course and sit down with him. Wherever he wants to go.

If I were Disney, I would use my tech and geotargeting to allow people to stream Jimmy Kimmel tonight on Hulu in locations where Sinclair or NexStar are preempting it. Instead of waiting until tomorrow to post it up.

Ok for the 100th time. Democrats need to instead be reminding America they have NO POWER and this is entirely on the GOP to fund govt. entirely.

If they need dem help then ok but there will be a cost.

Is anyone over there any good at messaging?
This must be a parody account, right? They’re demanding a meeting! Schumer and Jeffries. A meeting with Trump. That’s what they’re publicly ‘demanding.’

Another reminder of why they have got to go:
