Not everyone thinks it's terrible. Not everything I pre-order is great as I want it to be, but it's art. It's subjective. The anger at Taylor for making money on art nobody was forced to buy is ridiculous. If you don't like it, fine. Take L and move on. There is no blame here.

There is no reason to drag Taylor's business acumen. Women, especially young women, need to know it's okay to make their own money. Nobody made this writer buy all these records. Write all you want if you don't like her music, but this writer seems to be blaming Taylor for her buying all of it.

My 1st thought was the picture choice was hilarious. We cannot escape CC even when she's not in the postseason. But, my next thought was they chose two white women who are not even playing when the best player on the planet IS playing and they could have used her picture. But she's a black woman.

Found this in an old paperback I bought at the Newberry Library book fair 20 years ago. Finally cracked into it over the weekend. @chicagocta.bsky.social Any idea what year this ticket is from? The best part is January 12th is my birthday. (The book was Catch 22 and I could not get into it.)

It's clear by now that the Democrats won't press this case as aggressively as it needs to be pressed, and the media won't do that unless they have Democrats' quotes to use as a springboard either.

They won't do this work, so it's even more important that we circulate these stories ourselves.

The radical Left has incubated an environment where political violence is not only justified but celebrated and praised. In July, nearly two dozen armed leftists connected to various Texas-based Antifa-like groups ambushed an Immigration and Customs Enforcement ("ICE") facility in Alvarado, Texas. On September 10, 2025, a leftist assassin connected to the radical transgender movement murdered Charlie Kirk because of Kirk's bold support for truth, love of country, and unshakable faith. Two weeks later, another deranged leftist opened fire at an ICE facility in Dallas.
President Donald Trump has officially designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization and instructed his administration to "utilize all applicable authorities to investigate, disrupt, and dismantle any and all illegal operations — especially those involving terrorist actions — conducted by Antifa." Building on President Trump's bold actions, Attorney General Paxton has instructed his office to initiate sweeping investigations into radical leftist organizations engaged in or providing support to those performing political violence.

The recent ICE raid which emptied an entire apartment building was apparently at the request of Wells Fargo, which is trying to foreclose on the building.
