Stout pair of walking shoes and trainers for hills. Just getting out and walking the city is a good start.

Light knitted lace shawl over my shoulders, wool blanket over my legs, on a recliner by the radiator.

Afternoon tea as in tiny crustless sandwiches, scones and fondant fancies served on a 3 tier stand?

I had to borrow a managers car to drive from the production line to the admin block to the ladies loo while working on a project as a manufacturing engineer at Ford's Swansea plant. The frequency of my visits was commented on so I just announced it was because of my period. Would have been late 80's

Only rained towards the end, but we didn't take much. This year has been about trying all sorts to see what works then feeding that into the plans for next year. That particular venue hasn't been much good either time we've tried it so unlikely to book it again.

Last trip I did there I was at the tail end of some extreme weather and it was cold! I spent most of the three weeks in my UK going to the airport clothes and borrowing fleeces from the friend I was visiting.

All my holds came in at once, and there's another I missed. Better crack on 😁😁

So far the weather is neither as wet or as cold as was forecast, got the dog walked in th dry, so fingers crossed it's not too bad. Depends on where they've put us in town, one side is notorious for being a cold wind tunnel

I use Classic as an agency for the southwest and they're very good at giving you the information you need to make a good choice. Also having the owners nearby means they are usually well maintained and clean, and if you have any problems it gets sorted straight away.

And a collection of random bits that would appear in a footwell that you put in the ashtray in case something fell off later and you needed to fasten it back on again.

Whilst we do fuel the holiday home market, we will only book somewhere that is on the owner's property ie converted barn or farm building so we are not removing property from general housing stock and our money goes into the local economy, not some absentee landlord.

Damp clean linen tea towel on the ironing board and a medium iron. Good enough for my grannie, good enough for me.

We have a guide dogs stall at the local lights switch on tonight. Can't see us doing much trade, assuming we can keep the merch dry. There may be a tactical early finish. 🌧
