Trump has spent years fuming that he didn’t win the Nobel Peace Prize. So a deeply compromised organization invents a “FIFA Peace Prize” just for him. It’s authoritarian ego-management 101: if reality won’t deliver a trophy, make one up. #holdfast #SteadyState

Elon Musk is about to become the first trillionaire.

The reason poverty exists in the wealthiest country on earth isn't because we can't feed the poor — it's because we can't satisfy the rich.

We should tax trillionaires out of existence.

An American president is pressuring politicians of his own party on social media by name, even after some of them have received threats and been swatted in the wake of prior Trump postings. This is what experts on political violence call "stochastic terrorism."

Thank you Senator Kelly for standing up to this bully who lacks a moral compass and exhibits malignant narcissism.
Sen. Kelly: “I take the threats from this president seriously. How many times in our country's history have you heard a president of the United States say that members of the Senate and the House should be hanged?…Those words carry a lot of weight…I'm not intimidated by Donald Trump.”

An official government account using the word “remigration” is not normal. It’s an imported term from European far-right movements that refers to mass expulsion. Democracies do not use population-purification language. #holdfast #SteadyState

Everyone saw this coming.

Trump stiffed his contractors, then fell out w/his architect because he refused to back his demand for a ballroom bigger than the WH.

And those corporate donations he keeps bragging about are pledges, not real money. Taxpayers will end up on the hook one way or another.
