Quince/apple gelly workshop. Currently extracting the polymers responsible for the gelation before filtration, sugar addition, evaporation of 40% the solvent and aliquoting.

I did think of that but given the old age and some signs of weknesses in other rubber parts, I chose safety. In exposed terrain, it's better to 100% trust your hardware. And the shoes are a bit too rigid to become a pair for "gentle" hikes.

See this? This = implanting mouse embryo. Usually this happens inside its mother and is invisible to us, but we can actually watch implantation ex vivo with the hope of understanding why implantation goes awry in embryos of older women. A 🧵...
