I agree with the view that hangman's reign never felt like it got to a proper meaty story. I kept waiting for one too, and it sucks that it ended without one. But I don't like feeling miserable when I'm watching either way, so I'm focusing on how much better it's about to get now serves back #aew

I appreciate that others have adult thoughts and criticisms about how hangman's reign ended and theyre not just crying that their favourite guy lost but I want it known that that's what I'm doing. I know intellectually that this is not a disaster and good stories are on the way. But for now 😢😢😢 #aew

The "translate post" function on twitter now very clearly uses grok instead of just imported Google translate and it makes me feel slimy looking at it. It made saya kamitani swear like a sailor >:// that's a viable translation choice but NOT one a machine should be making.

Samoa Joe didn't cheat in his match against hangman. If hangman interferes with the trios match to cost them the titles today that feels too petty and underhanded for the kind of person hangman has made himself into since double or nothing

I loved mox's little breakdowns *begging* Darby to quit. He's deeply fucked up but I absolutely believe him when he says he loves Darby and understands him, I think he really sees a younger version of himself there and parts of him love him, despise him and are terrified of/for him #aew

I was thinking abt how while the anniversary dynamite card looks great I'm kind of nervous that wrestledream will be 2 weeks away and not a lot is getting built, notably the men's world title, and generally the last few months of the year feel really tough booking wise. To explain

Not saying anything revolutionary here but the months of aew tv between double or nothing and all in, including the ppvs, were the most excited I've been by any stretch of current wrestling programming since getting into it. They were really firing on all cylinders

The historical revisionism about hangman and the elite is Insane. No they were not being shitty to hangman and making him feel lesser, *he* felt that way and was being shitty to *them* and self sabotaging! And they didn't respond in an ideal way sure but how many would?

Could I ask a question of wrestling fans? What's with the word "geek"? As in person being made to look stupid/weak by booking? The first few times I heard it I didn't think anything of it but it's so consistently used in this way. I thought it meant a nerd enthusiastic about science. 🤼
