My favorite British stereotype is that they’re stuffy and rigid, because I have heard some of the dirtiest jokes come from the mouths of Brits. They may appear to be refined and proper (and I know how to gauge my audience), but they appreciate a good dick joke.

There are times when people who typically have a fair amount of sense are lured in by silver tongued, charismatic individuals; Trump is neither of those things. His supporters knew who they were aligning themselves with and , as a result, I feel nothing but schadenfreude for them.
Dan Bongino has a nice cry on Fox & Friends: "I gave up everything for this. I mean, my wife is struggling... I stare at these 4 walls all day in DC, you know, by myself, divorced from my wife. Not divorced, but I mean, separated. And it's hard."

Translation: they want to keep people poor and uneducated/undereducated (it makes them easier to manipulate).

For clarity, the U.S. has a deficit on *goods* with the EU (because many in the EU don’t trust American products, as we have fewer regulations, meaning lower-quality products, which are going to be made worse by continued deregulation), but have a *services* surplus, so it essentially evens out.

For Trump to be a capitalist, he doesn’t seem to understand how capitalism works. Walmart wants to KEEP making a profit, which is why they’re raising prices to offset Trump’s tariffs.

It’s possible to combat narcotics (even though the War on Drugs continues to be an abject failure) and sex trafficking while also holding white collar criminals accountable, as opposed to essentially giving them the green light to commit crimes.
BARTIROMO: Is there a directive now to focus on fighting real crime, look at illegal migration, look at the sex trafficking, & scale back on the white collar business-type crime?

If you want to know why I am the way I am, I’ve been coddled basically my entire life up until now. I got tired of it, and finally bought my first car and leased my own apartment on my own, but still get texts like from my mother. I’m not going to lose $5000 worth of Apple products.

Of all the grammatical atrocities Trump has committed, his overuse of random quotation marks ranks maybe the highest for me, outside of potentially his arbitrary capitalization of words.
