Got an email from Ancestry that my plan is renewing soon and I think any reparations plan MUST include access to free, professional genealogy. I shouldn't have to give so much money and effort to do this work because of this country's deliberate erasure of my ancestors' humanity

Someone shared a TT of a woman encouraging everyone to boycott the holidays re: the government shutdown and the idea is really attractive to me, but based on the conversations I've been having with people in my life, I don't know if the country as a whole is ready for even that small of a sacrifice

We've seen snippets of racism but it was loud AF in the last episode. The mirror scene in particular (when taken in context with the "model minority"(MM) myth & much of what happens in WS systems to keep ppl in line) was infuriating. #Severance

Yes. While there are absolutely things Democrats can and must do to slow, obstruct, etc, GOP hold both House and Senate majorities, severely limiting our options.
