I disagree. I think it's a hugely important story, for anyone who is pregnant, planning to get pregnant, who has a child with diagnosis of autism etc. The fact that his theory is mad, and that it crowds out the great research being done in places like Glasgow into the real causes, is infuriating...

As a side bar, am always struck by how the full instruction is "...believe them the first time." People repeatedly show us their true nature, and then we, apparently wilfully, choose to ignore what we see. Evolution is weird!

Because when I was made by my parents to wash dishes as a punishment, they too wanted the suds rinsed off. But I felt, but that way you're getting me to wash up TWICE. So it has always been my act of quiet rebellion, to leave the suds.

26th November feels quite late for the budget. Especially if that means the best part of three months of discussion as to which taxes are going up.
Would expect some cooling of the housing market, hiring plans and investment plans as a result.
