Travelled to Debden in Essex earlier this week for the first time in 30 years & felt saddened by how rundown it had become. Even more sinister, as someone who grew up during the NF/BNP era of the eighties, was the sheet amount of 🏴🇬🇧 hanging on every corner and street light. Felt very unwelcoming
