I just finished #deathstranding and although I didn't like the game for the first two chapters, I'm glad I continued, because this is one of the best experience that I've had in gaming.

I want the mazes to be findable, let say, by name or something like that.
A deterministic way to `generate` stuff is by using a seed so I searched for a way to generate a seed from a string, the "djb2" hash function is what I'm looking for :)

This was a good year for gaming, my boys Sekiro and Black myth wukon didn't make it to the summary but they where second and third this year.

it's kinda sad that digital work is so hidden
like there's no messy study room or bookshelves full of works you've read or letters from people and gizmos and widgets you've built or stacks of drawings and diagrams

Thinking about this, I think there is a circular dependency in the idea itself.
Making a solvable maze that is also a valid QR code may not be possible, at least for me now.
I'm going to try the maze generator anyways, seems fun.

Crazy, useless and maybe impossible idea: a solvable maze generator, but the mazes also form valid QR codes, scanning them will take you to a page where the maze you scanned is so you can play it.

People are often surprised when I tell them this: both Twitter and Facebook/insta/threads are now specifically engineered to downgrade, hide, suppress real journalism. If this platform is different, that's a huge change
Traffic from Bluesky to @bostonglobe.com is already 3x that of Threads, and we are seeing 4.5x the conversions to paying digital subscribers.

I have played #sekiro twice and there is something that I always find interesting: why are monkeys more evolved/skillful the deeper you go in sunken valley?
They start just being monkeys and end up being some of the most skillful enemies in the game 😅🎮

This feels right, the elden ring DLC being nominated for GOTY is new, maybe controversial, but I've heared that it is bigger and better than many full games.
Balatro is the other one I haven't played, but based on how much people talked and loved this game, it's not a surprised that it's nominated.
