Mostly avoid fields with sheep in at this time of year as they're close to lambing but these were quite friendly and didn't mind the dog.

It was really windy on the Downs so not many birds flying about except in sheltered spots. This kestrel was doing it's best to hunt. Was a fair distance away and light not great.

Lunchtime walk. Male Kestrel hunting then eating the catch. Was 20m away through the rain so couldn't crop too much. Incredibly efficient hunter, it was only hovering for about 40 seconds before it caught the mouse.
