I have unexpectedly become a temp guardian for a kid. I have a spare bedroom, but nothing in it. They're sleeping on a camp cot rn.
I would really like to get them a proper mattress, bedding, etc. I don't want this any more uncomfortable for them than it needs to be.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
