Point out the passage in the Equality Act 2010 that explicitly lays out what women's rights are, or go back to sniffing spraypaint out of a plastic bag.
December 13, 2025 at 3:16 PM
Look at this fucking shit. You're an obsessive. You're the perfect demonstration of why parents shouldn't drop their kids.
December 13, 2025 at 3:14 PM
Can you point to the women's rights section in the Equality Act 2010? Of course you can't, you inbred goon. Because they aren't real. The only "sex-based rights" in law apply to people of any sex, and they exist to protect people from discrimination on the basis of sex, whatever it may be.
December 13, 2025 at 3:12 PM
No they aren't. In fact the whole drive of the reactionary right over the last decade has been to concoct such rights. The UK is not supposed to discriminate based on sex.
December 13, 2025 at 2:59 PM
I am engaging respectfully. The problem is you want to have your cake and eat it too. You want all the benefits of a robust public sector, which used to be the envy of the world, but you think they should do it for povo rates, and be grateful. It's ghoulish.
December 13, 2025 at 2:42 PM
Where's the insult? It's insulting to tell public sector workers that there's nothing more the government can do for them, after near-on twenty years of austerity politics.

It doesn't have to be like that. It is by choice. The government makes the choice.
December 13, 2025 at 2:40 PM
If you can't afford rent, you're living in poverty. They're living in poverty. People are leaving the public sector because it's putting them into poverty. We will not agree to disagree, because you're just wrong and being stubborn about acknowledging it.
December 13, 2025 at 2:38 PM
"At least they made an effort!"

Effort doesn't pay the rent or feed your family, Jo. You're telling yourself a fairy tale. They aren't doing what needs to be done. They are actively opposing it.

Streeting is perfectly comfortable taking private money in the high six figures, though.
December 13, 2025 at 2:36 PM
This crab-bucket mentality is going to be the death of us. We cannot afford to continue thinking like this.
December 13, 2025 at 2:33 PM
Do you want the people keeping us alive to live in poverty? I don't. Especially not during a flu pandemic.
December 13, 2025 at 2:32 PM
They haven't had a massive pay rise. They've had a pay rise that takes them back to 2008, which was 17 years ago. And prices of everything haven't stayed still for the last 17 years, Jo, as you well know.

Do you want these people to do years of education to live in poverty? That's where we are.
December 13, 2025 at 2:29 PM
It's this government too, Jo. You think a government quibbling about fuel allowances for pensioners is in a profligate mood? The government is continuing the line that there's no money for anyone except the shareholding class. Nothing's changed except the colour of the ties.
December 13, 2025 at 2:27 PM
I don't think people making a vow to do no harm should be exposed to harm for making that vow. I don't think telling these important workers to suck it up and continue to eat shit to their own detriment is good for them, or us, in the long run.
December 13, 2025 at 2:24 PM
Maybe we shouldn't sit there quibbling over who is obligated to just deal with it, and back these important workers who we rely on, and let the government know how much damage they're doing by pursuing this sort of race-to-the-bottom, nation-crushing policy.
December 13, 2025 at 2:22 PM
Jo, are you telling me that all manner of public sector workers, of immeasurable value to society through their work, are all dealing with stagnating wages?

It's enough to make you realise that fifteen years of austerity politics and counting, have fucked up the lives of hundreds of thousands.
December 13, 2025 at 2:20 PM
It sounds like their work is incredibly valuable to society, and yet is not being compensated at a rate commensurate with that value.
December 13, 2025 at 2:14 PM
Sounds like it's time for your wife to strike too.
December 13, 2025 at 12:31 PM
Which anti-trans agitators have lost their job? It's now the official position of the BBC.
December 13, 2025 at 12:25 PM
It's not mob reactions. We're a mob and they have no interest in kowtowing to us. They are the instrument of a creeping authoritarianism that seeks to hold us all under.
December 13, 2025 at 3:26 AM
Weird how the loudest bigots get the law changed, but trans people are the most successful at obtaining rights by being as quiet as church mice. Almost as if the argument doesn't make any sense and is just some old twat vibing on respectability politics!

Wasn't the tree dead? A human man could climb into it and store books in it. It was probably dead.
December 12, 2025 at 5:09 AM
Yeah, there's a reason you didn't screenshot that one.

That's a list of meanings for the _word_ sexual when used as an _adjective_, Viv. Take a deep breath.
December 12, 2025 at 12:50 AM
Okay.
