#hobbystreak day 134: today I started building a Chaos War Dog, and customising it with green stuff and spare parts.

#hobbystreak day 131: lots done today as the weather was awful. Built more kitbashed Chosen; started undercoating them, a Chaos War Dog Knight, and some Heresy jump-pack assault marines; and got the Saturnine Dreadnought almost tabletop-ready, once it's based.

#hobbystreak day 130: yesterday I finished the Rhino - or at least, got it to tabletop-ready - and started putting together some Chaos Marine Chosen using mk6 bodies and bits from my bits boxes.

#hobbystreak day 129: game day! A few mistakes cost me in a game that was close right up until the end, when it suddenly wasn't. Good fun though.

#hobbystreak day 126: finished the Techmarine and Lascannon friends; started on some tokens to help track when my armies have controlled an objective; and got some paint on the Rhino.

#hobbystreak day 125: today I played a game in the morning against a friend (my meme list lost badly, 48-100). Then in the evening I primed the Rhino and got some more paint on some Word Bearers.

#hobbystreak day 122: game day! First time playing against Votann in 40k. Lost but it was an excellent game.

#hobbystreak day 121: finished the last bits on the Saturnine Terminators and Venomcrawler; varnished them; based them; and glued magnets onto their bases for transport.
The underside of three miniature bases that have small magnets superglued onto them. They are propped upright by various paintpots whilst the glue dries, to prevent "misting" on the models. The Venomcrawler model I've been painting. It is on its side. Several small magnets can be seen on the underside of its base. It is on some kitchen roll, to help protect the table it is on from misting from the superglue.

#hobbystreak day 120: a day where I got lots of little bits done. Started basing the Saturnine Terminators and Venomcrawler; got some progress on the black on the Saturnine Dreadnought; and got first base coats and all-over wash on two lascannon guys and a kitbashed Techmarine.

#hobbystreak day 119: good progress on the Saturnine Terminators. Almost done now. They're intended to be Phraetus Anointed, hence the red glow. Think it kinda works. Very happy with the little freehand text and symbols though #nerdlings #warhammer

#hobbystreak day 117: blow-out game in the morning against a friend, where I quickly got total board control after some luck. We talked it out after the first few turns as he had to leave early anyway. Then this evening I got more paint on the Venomcrawler.

Decided to start a new ##hobbystreak thread. Old Twitter friends might recall I got to over 1,000 days previously. Going to count any days spent building or painting models, or playing games.

Been a few weeks since I posted anything I was painting, so here's a WIP photo of a tank. Very happy with how the reds are coming together.
