why the hell are people using genai for gposes

just load up gpose, adjust the weather on brio, play with the bone machine on anam, fiddle with the lighting on ktisis, toggle through reshade filters, struggle with post-processing, and scream at image compression when uploading like the rest of us

He slept a lot, because of the persistent lethargy, and ate minimally because food made him sick. He was very ill by the time he got to Amaurot.

After Ardbert, most of his symptoms cleared, but nowadays he does still occasionally get the light tunnel vision and migraines if he's in poor condition.

These symptoms only intensified with each Lightwarden he defeated. After Innocence, he frequently hid away from brightly lit areas as the dark felt more soothing to him, wearing a cloak and hood if he had to go out in public to both shield himself as well as hide his hair and ears.

Frequent migraines accompanied by light tunnel vision. He was constantly cold, in pain, and yet felt like he was burning inside as the light tried to take over. His reflexes slowed, his body becoming heavy and stiff, taking more energy to even move normally, as if he was slowly turning to stone.

He had some minor changes in his external appearance, the tips of his hair and fur turning white - but he felt it more internally. Besides the obvious signs of sickness like vomiting and fainting, he had a plethora of other symptoms as his aether grew more stagnant.

So at some point he just completely refrained from any kind of action. The visions would still happen, and he would still know...but he wouldn't clue them in.

It's a large part of the reason he's now good at keeping secrets and observing others.

And when he was old enough to comprehend that others didn't like their secrets being known by him, he stopped mentioning anything whenever he did receive a vision. Occasionally, he did try to secretly help them (if he could). He learned that some didn't like that, either.

As a little kit, he didn't understand discretion, so sometimes he'd suddenly say things like "I'm sorry you're sad" or "it wasn't your fault" when he saw the memories of others - which did cause some to look at him strangely or stay away from him.

Lyal's Echo started when he was about 3, so yes, he's seen plenty. In a way, it did cause him to grow up faster (mentally) than the other children in the village of his age, often being privy to the thoughts and experiences of those far older than him.

He learned to keep quiet about it.

Y’MHITRA HAS A TWIN SISTER??

Here it would be meet to note that our family structure is unlike most Seeker of the Sun tribes. Tradition-ally, our people gather around a "nunh," a breeding male, and half-siblings abide together as part of a large but close-knit community. As a gleaner, however, our father had mates in those places he visited, and they and their children did not have occasion to dwell with their counterparts elsewhere. The result being that, despite sharing a sire, my half-sisters have always felt more akin to distant relatives.

The fact that I was taken from my mother at the age of seven only contributed to this perception. The difficult births of my younger twin sisters left her frail, and she struggled to care for me. With the Forum's intervention, I was apprenticed to Master Matoya, whose dimly lit cave in the Dravanian hinterlands I called home until the age of seventeen. I then journeyed to Sharlayan to pursue my Archon's mark, but as my full-blooded sisters, sixth-born Mallibo and seventh-born Mhitra, remained at the colony, I never had the opportunity to live with them.

LRP I always thought the gold lines running through the crystal looked like kintsugi, so I've always believed in the headcanon that his crystal did break and fall apart at some point and he had to fix it 🥺
