I just got an mmr booster. I don't know what the recommended age range for this is, but apparently I'm in it. With the increased risk of measles due to the outbreak in Texas, and the confirmed case at the LAX airport, if you haven't had an mmr shot since the 80s, you might want to ask.

I know we've been told that 250 years is the average duration of an empire. Not saying it's not time, but I did not think we'd be quite this on the nose.

I was practicing on the couch, but got up to check on dinner. The space has been reclaimed by the rightful owner, obviously.

Cuts to the humanities and the arts education and research funding are happening all over the place - yet people love watching drama, visiting museums, listening to history podcasts etc etc. Where will the next generation of artists, writers, curators and musicians come from?

I love that bluesky is apparently both a "liberal echo chamber" and a cat photo gallery. Definitely in the right place. Please contribute to one or the other. Or both.

Can we accept the neuro divergent tendancy to be awake at 3am? Instead of fighting it, why not cater to it? Give us venues for 2am band practice and creative planning sessions. While we're at it, provide 2pm nap rooms. There are enough of us to suggest this is, in fact, a natural sleep cycle.
