The FDA in the US has an acceptable level for the proportion of cockroach and other insects found mixed into your ground coffee. 4-6%. I can't help feeling that if the limit were instead applied to social media, it would be a far better outcome for everyone.

Elon is worth 426 Billion. The estimated cost of the LA fires thus far is around 135 Billion. Can we do some quick math here? I’m looking at a Google doc of Go Fund Me’s because insurance policies have been cancelled. Why can’t the richest man divert his funding to these people in crisis right now?!

Anyone else feeling that the word “empower” is egregiously overused??Power is not external to be granted to others. People inherently possess their own agency, wisdom, and strength. It’s not your job to empower someone but help them create conditions where existing #power can be realized. 💫

The #GoldenGlobes really have a way of sneaking up, don’t they? It’s like a sudden cultural checkpoint—“Wait, what have I been paying attention to this year?” Honestly, not knowing half the movies or shows mentioned is pretty common right? (Adding The Brutalist to the list now as well..)

I’ve been a fan of Rochele’s community work in the arts, particularly the Doll Walls where she facilitates students to make dolls for children who have suffered gun violence. It’s a stunning citywide piece of work that began in Chicago. ❤️
