I’m no great fan of the ACA.

I believe we should guarantee health care as a human right through a single-payer Medicare for All system.

But — at minimum — we cannot allow Republicans to destroy our already-broken system by doubling insurance premiums for 20 million Americans.

There’s an active investigation into the access DOGE officials gained to federal IT systems. Fortunately, detailed documentation was kept by many along the way. More DOGE “resignations” are expected.

In addition to throwing 16 million people off their healthcare, cutting food assistance for 2 million hungry kids, and slashing taxes for billionaires, the Republican budget bill would punish states that adopt AI regulations at any point over the next decade.

This is oligarchy. This is obscene.

While 60% live paycheck to paycheck & kids go hungry, Jeff Bezos, worth $230 billion, goes to Venice on his $500 million yacht for a $20 million wedding & spends $5 million on a ring while his real tax rate is just 1.1%.

End this oligarchy.

Remembering March 7, 1965, Bloody Sunday, when peaceful protestors were crossing the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, AL 60 years ago when they were met by a wall of police. Protesters were tear gassed and beaten. This brought national attention to the struggle for voting rights for people of color.
