I got a good hair cut and my skin is having a moment, so I’m putting it here.

Also, you should know that this facial expression is infact imbued with “Mike Johnson: What a little bitch” energy.
@nytgames.bsky.social Connections was the best it’s ever been today. Bravo! So much fun.

This is my dog, Rita. Her paws smell like toast. She is achingly perfect.

Thank you.

When I die please play the hold music used by HMRC at my funeral as a fitting tribute to what likely caused my death.

🔥 PUNK-ASS BITCHES 🔥
This speaks for itself🔥: “Native American woman calls out border patrol when asked if she’s a US citizen: ‘First ones. We didn’t cross the border, the border crossed us. What are you? You’re not first born. You’re not from this fuckin’ land. Punk-ass bitches.’”

The first June edition of my ongoing series: Mike Johnson: What a little bitch… yes, he’s very much worse than Mike Pence.
I used to think Mike Pence was the biggest boot licking, butt munchin, Yes man to ever walk the earth and then along came Mike F’N Johnson.

He’s also a Little Bitch.
Mike Johnson is a sneaky slimy snake. No disrespect to snakes!

Dear @strictscrutiny.bsky.social , may I pitch the name Lair Force One for 🍊🤡’s new toy?

It’s giddy AND informative!
It's...my book episode on Strict Scrutiny Day!

As I say-thank you to Melissa, Kate, Melody, Michael, all of Crooked & our listeners for giving me a chance to write this. (It wouldn't have happened without you.)

I had so much fun writing it; I hope you enjoy reading it! bookshop.org/p/books/lawl...

Hey @leahlitman.bsky.social, happy almost-publication day! I was wondering if you might be considering a promo trip to the UK for the release of Lawless over here next month?

Today in Mike Johnson: what a little bitch…
Every time (and I mean every time) MSNBC shows a clip of Speaker Mike Johnson, I think, "What a creepy little bastard!"

Last night I listened, for the first time since 5 Nov, to @strictscrutiny.bsky.social and my god, those women are on FIRE these days. Peewee German?!

Adding this to my ongoing BlueSky series “Mike Johnson: What a little bitch….”
pretty sure if our president were at least somewhat more normal, mike johnson would be getting a lot more attention as an incredibly creepy guy and weird religious zealot

I’ve been at this thing, on and off, since June 2024, including a full restart in October due to an error stitched-in too early to unpick.

I don’t know what I’ll do with it when it’s finally done. Probably nothing. #crossstitch

I guess the difference between Trump and Truss and their economic snaffoos is that the UK didn’t vote Truss in: we were landed with her by the Tories who selected her as leader after Johnson’s departure. Whereas Trump? The US chose him, singularly, over someone more qualified and more responsible.

“About 400,000 people are falling out of work due to sickness,” says Kendall. “The longer someone is signed off, the less likely they are to return.” Well, yes, because they’re sicker or disabled — not less willing. Illness and disability aren't a work ethic problem, Liz. #WelfareNotWorkfare

One of my favourite moments following Cory Booker’s marathon speech was when he gave us insight into how he’d prepared for the feat: intentional fasting and dehydration beforehand, plus limited food throughout because “burning ketones is a good thing!”

Just got destroyed in the face by Weyes Blood’s cover of Neil Diamond’s Shilo.

I have to be careful with Neil Diamond because his melodies are apt to bring me to my knees but to be ambushed by a Diamond melody rendered ina Weyes Blood vocal?

I didn’t stand a fucking chance.

It's been hard following the news in the UK the last few days, hearing Starmer and Kendall talk about "incentivising" more disabled people to work. Do you think companies want disabled workers? They don't. They don't want us with our needs and sick days, our humanity.

I have a question.

When a new UK government comes in and they’re passed the hypothetical bit of paper that tells them why they absolutely cannot, under any circumstances, tax the super rich, what does it say?

Because ‘if we tax them they’ll leave’ just isn’t cutting it anymore.
