Grateful to have had the opportunity to meet and volunteer for such an incredible leader like Joe John. Phil Rubin has big shoes to fill but I have no doubt he’ll do it well and make the district proud #ncpol

Friends, when I sought the opportunity to represent you in the NC House, I promised to advocate fiercely for our vision and to help lift our candidates in tough races. Over the last 4 months I've worked hard to begin fulfilling that promise, and I'm excited to announce my campaign kick-off. [1/2]

This morning, I voted no on the House budget. While it slows the damage, it doesn’t undo 15 years of cuts that left NC 48th in school funding, 50th in health costs, and billions behind on basics. We need a wholly different direction. #ncpol

Jeff Jackson is on a hot streak — 4 for 4 in court against Trump’s administration.

They came for North Carolina’s rights, and he sent them packing. Every. Single. Time.

When the people are under fire, Democrats fight back. 💪

Yesterday was disappointing, as Republicans passed HB636, which is a process to ban books in public schools. Everyone agrees we shouldn't have obscene books in school libraries, but librarians already handle that. Instead, this bill will cause political book removals, lawsuits, and wasted $. #ncpol
